Whoa didn't mean to stir up such a hornets nest guys. Fact is I've been riding all my life and built up a fair collection, road, MTB (geared and SS) and cross. Missing element is a fixed. Bought the Cervelo for a good price then got a deal I couldn't refuse on an Orbea Orca.
Hence my thoughts on SS/fixing the cervelo for mainly TT use (it comes with a seat post head that when rotated gives a more upright 76 degree seat angle. Rather than sell it on I'd like to keep it and put it too good use . Despite what my wife says a man can never have enough bikes. I'm not planning on destroying it desecrating it or whatever just fill in a gap in my bike stable and ENJOY it.
Parts surplus to requirements on the Cervelo will be passed down the line, currently the Orbea is running Ultegra so that will get most of the attention whilst the Ultegra will get moved onto to my crosser which has got pretty tired running gear.
30 years cycling and as my wife will tell you I never throw anything away. Still have a lovely Royce Ti 107mm BB I bought in the late 90's. Good as new after a bearing change and might well end up on the Cervelo if I need to play around with the chainline.
Anyway thanks for the input I think I'll pull the trigger on a wheel build based on the ENO hub and take it from there, Hope to post some pics of the build when its done.
Second question anyone any opinions on the profile T2 wing base bar ?
Thanks again for your inputs
