Yeah, it's a decent Japanese-made Puch with Tange Champion #5, a heavier tubing, but will be very durable. Probably made flawlessly in the Kuwahara factory by robots. I didn't know that Puch had contracted to have them built there in '84, but now we know...high-end Puchs from this era would have been built in Italy by Bianchi. If you want to play "upgrade" I'd suggest a good light 700C wheelset and long-reach brakes, if needed.
