Not to start another fixed vs. anti-fixed war, but it's the less spectacular parts of history that intrest me, and as soon as the factory parts are discarded, and the rattle cans come out. Some things you can never get back, once they are gone....thats it.

I'm a preservationist, thats what I do, I'm also a student of history, I know that you can't save everything, but the whole fixed trend goes against everything I believe in.

I hear what you are saying RNW, I honestly do.

But it was a fairly sweet butted frame with missing and odd parts and I cant dictate to the market. And I don't want to dictate to a nice young guy with a tight budget either. Keep in mind that if he uses it every day/ or even few days per week, then we are all breathing easier with a few less emissions from his vehicle... I suspect that it gets used daily...
