What are the wheels?
You build them yourself?
You can probably get away with the skinny tyres on a Moulton (with the suspension), but I got the feeling the RSW will need fatter ones.
And I don't think they are easily found.
Front wheel is an original, rear is the rim from a spare which which had a coaster brake hub laced into it, which I relaced with the SA hub (I think the hub might have been off a raleigh RSW or a similar model actually, they use the small size 16" wheels don't they? My dad turfed the raleigh though which is a bit of a shame). Still need to true it properly though :/
My dad's working on a moulton conversion right now using skinnier wheels, 1 1/4" rims, with a new 8 speed hub laced into the rear. I think the original rims are 1 3/4". Should be good once he's finished, but he's moving at a somewhat glacial pace
How does the RSW ride? I quite like the way the moulton rides, a bit of give in it but not too spongy, I imagine the RSW is pretty stiff though?
