They were promoted as shoppers originally, so I can imagine it being very hard work with a load on the back too.

But it appeals to me as a period piece, and it is quite rare here since a lot were broken up for their 'Chopper' parts.

Never realized those were that rare? They were made for more than one year (unlike the ebay claim) I have a 1968 Compact RSW in Bronze Green. It was one of several I bid on. I have seen them with Dyno hubs and lights, and I think one with a drum brake on the rear. Interesting little beasts.
