I was totally bummed to discover that my 2001 Fuji Roubaix had developed a crack in the chain stay near the bottom bracket. It appears to be next to the weld but then diverts away from the weld. I'm assuming that this is not repairable but wanted some second opinions... Here's a look at the crack...

I guess my feeling is that even if it could be repaired, I'm not sure I could ever fully "trust" the repair. And since my life is really at stake here, I suppose I must begin the quest for a new bike.

What's the verdict from the forum?
