I have 3 brooks b17's and one thing I noticed is that there is a slight difference in the leather between the regular b17 vs the champion special b17.. The champion special took a little longer to break in and the leather seems a little stiffer which may be a good thing for clydes worried about the leather sagging.. I have had no issues with sagging on any of my b17's.. I have read many brooks threads and still have not made any adjustments to the bolt and they all seem good..

I use proofide on my saddle about 2 times a year and once real well on the bottom side.. It helps keep the saddle nice and slippery which you will learn over time to love.. Go back and try one of your older saddles after you use a nice slippery brooks..
