I have been reading about the Palo Alto frame and I was wondering if any of you would know about the frames that were built in the late 70's. I bought a frame from them in late 1977 and still have it in great condition. Does anyone know who made those, were they too built by some contractor. I am certain they were built using 531 tubing but I received the blue imron painted frame with no decals. I do remember that I had to choose which braze on fittings I wanted and since I was only 16 years old and mowing yards to satisfy my bicycle habit I did not get all the braze on fitting that I wish I had now. I am a pack rat and I may still have the 77 and 78 catalogs, maybe I should look for them.
Any information would help.
