and for about 40 bucks and the cost of a wheel build, or just a new rear wheel, you could have a perfectly
functional beater fixed gear that is moderately fast and looks awesome. sure, it will probably never be as much of a bike as a mercier or a windsor or something else, but unless some idiot buys it for 200 it will probably be less than half any other bike you can find for you to do it up right, albeit with a bad chainline.
then again, if target really has marked these down to 40 bucks you'd be an idiot to not just buy one from them and do it yourself.
