a bit off topic...but maybe not....My son and I just stopped by to look a local shop known for BMX (the new bmx park was muddy)... and I have never been turned off so much my agressive, in your face, sales approach. I made it clear we were just looking, my son had a bike, no he didn't need a $1000 new bike, no I didn't want a 24" bmx to ride on the park with him (I want one ), I do my own work, I don't really care about how good your mechanics are..........you get the idea.

The shop also had a lot of Raliegh cruiser/comfort type bikes and I can see people looking to get back to biking, just turning and running.
