I think the americans will have to hit it with a preemptive strike before the earth gets any other great ideas again
(oh yeah, they already HAVE been hitting it with pollution for decades)
On topic - cycle clothing is nice to have, but you're right - you won't melt. At most you'll be cold and miserable, but melting is definitely out.
