Interesting article I read yesterday on The Oil Drum contends that Global Warming by consumption of oil based fuels is the least of our worries. The article feels that even if we burn all available oil it will run out before it could have that much effect on GW. Their concern is going to be the mess we make out of the environment when they have to start burning coal for electricity. I am beginning to wonder if the US Government is focusing on Global Warming as a way of a smoke screen to avoid having to publicly face Peak Oil. Both are very real issues. Global Warming is nothing new, from what I have read and conclude is that it is part of a cycle, are humans adding to or hastening it? Probably, we have managed to screw up quite few natural things with our heavy handedness on the environment. It is it a major issue? To some yes, but I honestly believe it will become less of an issue in the future when we have greater things to worry about, like enough to eat.

And as far as your SUV's are concerned...I hope they are comfortable to sleep in
