my left brifter rattles on the rough road, but it works flawlessly otherwise. I know the subject was discussed at numerous occasions, but i still could not find the answer to my problem. in my case, it is not the cap, or anything else I read about, it rattles when brake is pulled, I hear it when i shake the front end of the bike etc. it seems the noise is coming from withing the ratcheting mechanism and I manage to suppress it when i pull the whole handle upwards. The cables also do not seem to be the cause...
I would not mind buying a new lever, if I could only be sure it won't be noisy, but this is not guaranteed
Anybody has an idea how to fix this problem, or at least make the part quieter?
I made my bike so quiet, this thing really get on my nerves...
