In the upper midwest we just have the red wing blackbirds
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red-winged_Blackbird. They're annoying but aren't as bad as the magpies sound. I ducked under a swoop last season and banged my helmet off my stem gashing the bridge of my nose. Nothing like coming home from a ride with a bloody face.
