The ballooners are coming out of the woodwork for me this month

I have the silver American dated to 1955, and thought that the black one was a 1953 Skipper, but now I'm wondering if I am mistaken about the Skipper...??

Its serial # is K151XX. But, the '53 catalog does not show anything about/with the dual cross bars (Total of 3 bars on top)

Maybe the chainguard isn't even the original and it's some other model...??

Can anybody help me?
