I didn't. Even so, the law is the law and they technically MUST disclose any material changes or (in my state) face up to 3X the value of the item in penalties plus legal fees if found at fault by a court of law.
That said, I am going to keep the bike. It is a much better fit than my old bike and I don't want to have to go out shopping for bikes again. The main downspec of the wheels drops the value of the bike by $200, but I am still saving $600, which seems reasonable. The cranks substitution is about on par. I think one poster said the TruVativ cranks are actually better. And like a previous poster said, it is time to get outside and enjoy my new bike.
Thanks for all your comments. They were (mostly) helpful.
Do you care about the quality of the ride or just the monetary value of the bike?
