My regular mechanic is Manny at Ted's Manhattan Cycles, on Sepulveda. But I prefer a Campy guy.
Just a bunch of stuff that I don't have the time, energy, or expertise to manage.

* I want to get a full tune up done. Tighten the bits that need tightening. Clean the bits that need cleaning. Inspect the thing to make sure its all good. I've had the bike five years (though I've only ridden it hard for the last 14 months) so I figure its time to do something like that.

* The cassette needs replacing. The chainring might. I want to tweak the gearing anyway (been trying to shift into a gear I don't have for much of the summer). I need somebody to sit down with to figure out my options -- I have a decent idea what I want but lack the ability to express it as bike parts. Probably ought to replace the chain while I'm at it.

* Some other minor crap that I could probably do, but might as well have done while somebody is working on it -- the handlebars need rewrapped for example.

* I need a new saddle. The one I have just isn't cutting it for riding every day.
