He's actually right about Aggravated A&B, intentionially hitting someone with a car is by definition Aggravated A&B. Criminal law is, in general, pretty humorless.

Is is ridiculously irresponsible what they were doing: yep. Is that pretty much what alleycats are all about? To an extent... the way you're talking I thought it was going to be crazier than it turned out to be (although forcing cars to come to a full-stop isn't all the great in my book).

Do I really think doing what they were doing casts some all cyclists as irresponsible idiots who are taking their and possibly other people's lives in their own irresponsible hands, no.
