I do that all the time, but I wanted to let someone else say it, lol. I haven't found any of them to be really tight, and smaller pairs of vise grips teeth match up pretty well. Sometimes the cassettes seem stuck, but spin it backwards briskly while leaning the wheel toward the drive side. They can be gummy sometimes too, in that case just give it a steady pull while twisting your hand slightly counterclockwise.,,,,BD
