Well part of this is that I am going to do some riding with a tri buddy of mine. He is training for the Lake Placid IM next year so he is getting into longer distances. But as a tri guy he is working on long distances in such a way so he will have the energy for a marathon afterwards. So he is not a speed demon. Much more your speed than NoRacers.

He actually just joined DCRAND to do some of their training rides. We have also talked about taking some "hookie" days during the week to get in some long rides over the fall/winter.
