i've been riding a pair of formula hubs / dp-18s for almost a year now. I adjusted the spoke tension when I got them (was a little uneven), and then trued them once about 3 mos ago (very minor truing). I'm 300lbs, and ride them daily.

They are a bit less nicely finished than Velocity rims, and have some rough edges on the seams, but have been VERY solid and dependable. I got them from wheel & sprocket on ebay.
