Brew-I've encountered that myself. Being young has its drawbacks. The ironic thing is, you'd think that people who are into old stuff would want a younger crowd to become interested in it as well, so as to carry on their passion.
I subscribe to several British vintage motorcycle magazines, and worrying about the lack of new blood is a common theme there. Of course, they'll also make slightly tongue-in-cheek comments about whippersnappers on sportbikes. I think it's just human nature for older folks to look down on younger folks, although it's a shame when it goes beyond the gentle fun-making level.
