I have a hard time believing that 'hot spots' can remotely be due to your forefoot literally being too hot in a bicycle shoe. Pinched nerves can cause ALL kinds of sensations. The most common my patients tell me about is that they're walking on a pebble and having burning sensations in their open -toed 3" heels.
