Hello everyone - thanks for giving up some of your time to help me out with my problem.

Basically, I found a Peugeot Bicycle dumped in a bush (it really was dumped, belonged to nobody) and decided to take it home because the frame (which is Mangalloy HLE) was in very good condition. It is a road bike, with darkish grey paint, with the word "Premiere" in yellow on the right side of the top tube and "Made in France" on the left side, with "Peugeot" on each side of the downtube.

There are stripey decals on the seat post in the colours of Yellow, Pink and Turquoise. It is a 10 speed model.

But after spending hours searching the internet to identify it, I met with no success, and so I decided to try this wonderful forum to find out if any of you guys might know how to identify the year and model from my bike's serial, which is: Y001 50082 (stamped into the bottom bracket).

It's a really nice road bike (funnily, it does not have drop hadlebars, but regular straight bars) and I would love to know its model and year, to see if it is worth anything. If not, then i'll just respray it, because there are some rusty bits.
