I take photos on almost every ride and almost every photo while moving. I have a camera case that is open at the top, I velcro the belt loop on the case to the stem and use it like a pistol holster facing up. It's the fastest and easiest way. And probably the ugliest. It looks pretty fugly. NO sweat this way, and yes, I carry a sandwich bag for rain protection.
