Yes, the spindle is in bad shape. Bearings were non existant. lol

Bear with me, but where is the extra 3mm coming from? are mtb bb 73mm? I plan on making this bike a single speed, I know the chain line is supposed to be 42mm here. I'm assuming the chainline will vary per crank, which i don't have yet.
