Removing the brakes plays right in to my Minimum Contact Exposure Time Theory, whereby, slowing and/or stopping and having to accelerate back up to speed at stop signs and intersections only increases the amount of exposure time that you have for being hit by cars while traversing a dangerous intersection. Since I hit upon this revelation, I no longer stop or slow down for intersections or stop signs.
