most of those guys that finish bloody are finishing either with the group or finishing because they have to in order to stay part of the stage race.

one could argue that refusing to pull yourself out of crit where you were dropped 30 minutes into a 60 minute race and just suffering futiley for 30 minutes is a sign of mental weakness.

dnf, dfl, really who cares? Something is up with you people that are so adamantly against people that choose to dnf. Perhaps you are worried you are going to have to race some fresher legs the next day because you were too hard headed to walk away from a blown effort the day before?

DNFing isnt a sign of mental weakness. Stressing over DNFing so much that you force yourself to finish a race where you have essentially been eliminated is.
