I like 12 O'clock front (corrected from 11 O'clock, previous post) or parallel to fork because it enables me to grab the fork and squeeze the skewer lever to close. It's just a natural position for the skewer lever to rest at. But aesthetically, 3 O'clock front looks a lot better....
