Depending on the route that Amber chooses and the weather, the TdW difficulty can vary considerably. Much depends on the heat and the WIND. She chooses a different route every year. Registration fills up within a few hours after it opens. Everyone that I have talked to says it is well organized and supported. There is a website: http://www.cyclewyoming.org/tour.htm.

Back to the topic: too bad you all could not have seen Jackson when it was a real cow town. I first remember going there (from my home in SE Wyoming) in 1958. It has REALLY changed and I'm not sure for the better.

It still remains, however, one of the most scenic spots in the U.S.
