I'd sell all your Deep V's and just go with the DT RR 1.2's. These are beautifully made, with a substantial braking surface, a sophisticated extrusion that supports the spoke nipple well without wasting weight elsewhere, and they are super flat and round. DT's are welded rather than pinned, which I don't care about as long as the pinning is accurate, but many Velocity rims aren't pinned all that well. The DT is a beautifully done rim and just outperforms virtually any other deep-section alloy rim. The CXP33 isn't bad and is pretty bulletproof. The Open Pro isn't as durable or rigid but still does pretty well. And there have been intermittent problems with the square-section DT clincher rims. But the deep-section DT is a wheelbuilder's dream. Highly recommended.
