Ever since I switched to using a seat bag I've had no where to carry a water bottle. I used to carry a large bottle off the rear seat rails using a triathlon style cage bracket. I could get a front handlebar mount, but sometimes I also like to ride with a handlebar bag, so that's a no go too. It seems Cannondale stopped making those wicked cool velcro bottles and cages I used to use on bikes with no water bottle cage braze-ons. So, where does that leave me. As a last resort, I could grab some of those old metal clamps for cages, but they can mar up a frame and I haven't seen them anywhere. Any other ideas for a simple, easy, and elegant solution to mounting a water bottle and cage to the frame of my track bike?
