1) Probably not. If it fits it will be a VERY tight fit. The rails on road bike saddles are 7mm thick. The rails on BMX seats are 9mm thick. When I used to ride BMX, I'd run BMX seats on ultra light road seatposts (Thomson) and it was a B*tch to squeeze the rails into the clamp.

4) The saddle is the #1 upgrade for new bike owners at bike shops, so every bike shop has a box of stock saddles (road and MTB) that customers had replaced. You can get them for like $10.
