It allways cracks me up when hard ass road bikers put down tri-atheletes. Have they ever been in the ocean? Have they ever tried to swim in the ocean ? Have they ever tried to swim a race in the ocean? These highly coordinated road warriors would probaly have to be rescued within 100 feet of the starting barge.
I definitely agree with you to a certain degree. There is a MAJOR difference when somebody does triathlons for fun/hobby vs. people who are hardcore triathletes. I think the people that make fun of them are more apt to be talking about the fun/hobby triathletes.
