its been three weeks since my last ride. finally done with that marathon thing and i am able to ride just for the fun of riding. i was giddy with excitement. i got up early and out the door at 7am. i was bundled up with arm and knee warmers, wool socks, skull cap, and long finger gloves. three miles out the rain started. so i pulled over and put my PI Optik Jacket on and kept going. it was like my first ride of spring all over again. 28 miles in the rain and i enjoyed every mile.

i like running, but the marathon training was more like work. riding is never like work. its just fun. good times.
