It isn't a new bike. One of these showed up in the Specialized pics thread within the last week. As far as I can remember, Specialized was selling this bike around 1990. I remember it from a multipage insert in an issue of Bicycling magazine. It was a page or so after a picture of Mikhail Gorbachev sitting on a Sirrus.
