Ride Report.
In other terms a ride report.
Today: Gloomy and raining.(What else is new here lately.)
Trails: South Branch, Some abandoned camp trails, Echo Hill.
Miles:20 miles in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Trail Conditions: Muddy, tacky kind of.
Was the kind of ride where you go in with a orange and blue jersey and when you get done it is completely brown.
I have to rant about equestrians in my immediate area as well. The ones around here have no freaking common sense at all, they go in a trail that is closed off to them when the no horses sign is in their damn line of vision. Got rattled around in some sections and had the bike slide out on me 4 times with in the first 4 miles because of the damn horse hoofs and the piles of damn horse dung lying right in the middle of the trail. The thing that pissed me off though is that I had to move a tree that fell over onto the trail, instead of just having the horse step over the fallen tree, which in these conditions would have been the proper thing to do, nope, the rider must have made the horse jump over it, right where the horse landed was a complete mess. So I have to go out there tomorrow to go get that mess fixed. I have come across Horse people before in other states who have been completely responsible in these matters, but in my own home state I have come across the kind who have no common sense at all every single damn time.
Rant off.
