Strengths: Holds seat to bike
Silver w/writing on it saying Thomson elite
Made of metal that is hard
Has bolts that hold the seat to it
Simple to install
Long and straight
Can be used as weapon in emergency
Glows a cool color when heated with a torch
Can be used as a rolling pin in a pinch
4 out of 5 dentists surveyed reccommend it
Came highly reccommended by the guy at the Bike Shop

Weaknesses: Kind of boring just sits there
Can't see the writing on it from very far
Nobody ever says to me "hey cool seatpost"
Won't play my CD's
Has no volume control
When heated with torch makes painful brands on flesh
Does very little to promote literacy
Doesn't work as a tap on a Maple tree
Makes a disgusting fart sound when plunged into mud
Oval shape of tube doesn't make a good zip gun
You look really foolish using it as a megaphone
Doesn't have cool flames painted on it like my bike
My mom keeps biching that it cost $80 half as much as my Grandma paid for the bike

Similar Products Tried: Can't remmember but i'm sure there has been others. The one that came with it was blue and broke when I IR'd down the fire escape at school. Got suspended for that

Bike Setup: Mongoose I bought at Target. RST Front shock, DNM rear shock,Tektro brakes, Alivio components, Honshin tires, Araya rims, Cycle pro seat with a fake sheep skin cover.

Bottom Line: It works really well. Has many uses I only am beginning to discover. Almost every other part on my bike has broken except for that seatpost. Seemingly absorbs the vibration of the trail seeing as both my shocks don't work now. Only part on my bike that doesn't creak or make a scraping noise. Plus the jerk down the street uses it as a handle when he tosses my bike and its kind of slippery so he can't hold on to it that good when he throws it. My sister keep stealing it and locking herself in the closet upstairs for some reason. My Mom want to sell it for a new car or beer. As soon as she finds it I'm sure she will sell it.
