If you're racing or something that's a different story of course
but neglecting to eat while training is a *bad* thing to do, performance decreases, power output drops, and thus less energy is expended. sure, if you need to loose weight, then cut your intake, but not when you're training. if your muscle and liver glycogen stores are depleted or not fully topped up you'll ride like a bag of spanners.
