I'm just about to get a land line in Kansas. It's driving me crazy depending on my cell phone. People complain that the connection is scratchy, I don't have an answering service on it because I chose to have my home phone forwarded to it automatically if the cell phone is on and that's incompatible with the answering service. People down here think they have the wrong number since the area code is in MN, so plumbers don't call me back.
