We just moved & waited 30 days for installation of an underground cable to get internet. We requested broadband internet only but the installer added a splitter & ran cable to the TV location for future use. We were watching our local channels with amplified rabbit ears during the waiting period & that was OK, but later when the crew brought in the underground line, the workers said I could get some basic TV with the broadband so I connected our TV & now get local channels plus a few more with excellent picture quality. Its not worth paying for the extra channels upgrade as we don't watch that much.
