Delta Shock Treatment front rack?
I posted this over in the "General Cycling" forum, but wahoonc suggested that I post it here...
Anyway, I am looking for an inexpensive front rack for my suspension fork -- not for touring, but for carrying lots of groceries. I'd like to be able to carry a couple of gallons of milk up front (i.e. about 18 lbs). My fork can lock out, but doesn't have the eyelets and whatnot for attaching a regular rack.
I know about Old Man Mountain, but the Delta ST rack and very similar MEC Front Suspension Lowrider rack are much cheaper -- $30 and CAD$16, respectively.
Anyone out there with either of these two racks? How do you like them? Also, 2 questions for either one: 1) what diam. is the top rail? and 2) what is the distance between the two clamps on one side (my fork only has about 5 inches of clamp-able length)? I can't seem to find that info. anywhere.....
Thanks so much in advance!
