I think everyone agrees by now that the air will stop flowing into the bike tire when the pressure has equalized. If the car tire was just laying on the ground, that's what would happen. BUT, there is a car or truck sitting on top of the tire. They are pretty heavy, and thats going to squeeze more air into your bike tire. I don't know how much more air you'll get out of that car tire, but I'm guessing it will be more than the standard 32 psi of a car tire. [(weight of car)/(area of tires making contact with the ground)]/(# of tires)...?

Now in the spirit of this thread, SUMBODY CORRECT MY FIZIKZ.

Car tires are usually inflated while attached to the car. And not while the car is rolled over on its back either. Therefore, pressure readings take the car's weight into account.
