I've never done the kessel run, but he could have meant that he made it through the whole thing in less than 2 parsecs, which is difficult because usually there's lots of avoiding of asteroids and such to do which increases distance significantly, so by doing it in such a short distance (relatively), he showed that he's a great pilot and the falcons agility/nimbleness.
