Well due to what would have been a constant 25mph wind I bailed and got a ride today Yeah it was raining too but I don't mind that. What would have been mostly head wind and sometimes stiff cross breeze for my first official xtracycle commute all culminated in no ride for me. I would have done my old ~10 miler but my new 21 one way I'm not up to.

I was actually looking forward to pulling my backpack out of a garbage bag when I got to work and having some dry clothes. Plus I had my knee warmers all set to go. Dang Wind

As far as extreme we don't really have that down here. I guess tornados and stuff but I'm not going to ride through that I think we had ice for a few hours last year but that would be a pretty short season
