Energy!

Hey, ladies and gents. I have some questions about energy -

I'm a bit of a coffee/caffeine fiend and usually have two or three cups in the morning, and another at lunch, another if I'm stuck working overtime. I work in a law firm, so this is definitely the norm (IE, encouraged) here. The downside to all this caffeine is that I crash around 6:00 PM, which is right when I get home. If I drink more coffee I won't get to sleep on time, so I don't have the energy I would like at the end of the day.

I bike 10 miles every morning and do a lot of reps on low-weight for my arms. I was wondering if anyone has some experience switching from coffee to a more balanced energy source, or if there is a particular vitamin that would increase my general energy all day (nothing like ephedrine, please.) Would quitting coffee give me more energy in general?

Let me know, thanks.
