Thanks for the replies.......I do use gloves and Specialized Bar Phat tape. My main problem is that the hood get slippery....even with gloves on....when it's humid here the gloves are just as wet as my hands would be without them. Gloves or no gloves, I'm slipping and sliding all over the place.

i used to have this problem with my old gloves...then i bought these no name brand gloves that have this rubbery type grippy stuff (the technical term for it of course
) and i havent had a problem riding in the rain since.
