It depends on what you want the bike for. Neither the frame nor the parts are anything highly sought after or collectable but they still constitute a very nice bike. With any vintage bike, if you are looking at resale or just want a grociery getter then if the bike needs more than a good tuneup and it's not Fausto Coppi's old ride, it's probably not worth investing a lot of time or money. Parts, paint jobs, decals, and such add up very quickly. On the other hand, if, like me, you wanted to relive your youth by buying/building/restoring the bike you always wanted to own had you not been a broke teenager at the time, then it's worth whatever it's worth to you, just don't expect to get your money back out of it. I'm not expecting the prices on vintage racing bikes to take off like vintage muscle cars any time soon.
