I don't find putting a Dahon 20" bike in a suitecase much of a problem, in this case an MUP8 in a Samsonite Oyster. I do find it easiest to place the front wheel in a plastic bag and stowing it in my other suitcase. I can, however, get the entire bike in the Samsonite, it just takes more time and extra care.
