Yeah thats awesome! My friend has the t shirt! I'd love to own a full T Mobile spandex kit just for comical effect.
Fingerless gloves are fine, road shoes won't give you any traction when it comes to walking, stick with platforms. I don't think there is anything wrong with the cycling shorts, although some slightly longer shorts will provide better protection against scrapes.
Actually, you might want to wear a full-length tracksuit when riding platforms, to protect your shins from pedal scrape. Up to you.
